David Walker served as the first psychologist at Yakama Indian Health Clinic from 2000 to 2004 and has continued as a consultant to Yakama Nation since then. He's an associate professor of clinical psychology at Washington School of Professional Psychology and has published and presented professionally on numerous occasions, including articles in the International Journal of Critical Psychology and Journal of Clinical Psychology, and a highly-regarded chapter for New Perspectives on ADHD (2006, Routledge, Winner, NASAN Academic Book Award). Dr. Walker lives in Newcastle, Washington with his family and is currently working on a sequel to Tessa's Dance with the working title, Signal Peak.
